ALENTEJO CHEESE FAIR

Featuring cheeses from all over the country, the Alentejo Cheese Fair will showcase the best of agri-food products and local gastronomy, such as cured dry sausages, wine, olive oil, olives, honey, convent confectionery and regional handicraft. The program planned for this edition includes activities for the younger audience, practical workshops on cooking with cheese, the Best Cheese of the Fair Competition, a cheesemaking workshop, a shearing demonstration, a sheep competition and parade, taverns, Alentejo Cante, street music and entertainment, among several other initiatives.

Organised by the Municipality of Serpa, in partnership with several local and regional entities.
