5TH CHEESE GASTRONOMIC WEEK

For the fifth consecutive year, the municipality of Serpa and the local restaurants organise the Cheese Gastronomic Week.
This event takes place in the context of the marketing of the Serpa cheeses produced in the municipality and of the promotion of the Alentejo Cheese Fair. Its primary goal is to promote cheese as one of the main ingredients in the preparation of the dishes, showcasing the rich and diverse local gastronomy.
Twenty-nine of the municipality’s restaurants took part in the 2018 edition, almost double the number of participants in 2017.
