ROUTE DESCRIPTION

The route begins in the main square (Praça da República), known as Largo do Vale, one hundred meters south of Largo do Adro - the highest point in the village of Brinches and the site of the Nossa Senhora das Neves Church.

Heading towards the market, the route quickly leaves the village to cross the Municipal Road 518 that connects Brinches to the Orada Mine. Leaving the paved road behind, the route heads towards Serrinha, a geodetic marker and the name of a local agricultural estate.

At this point the route heads south until it reaches a fork, returning to Brinches by way of the Serpa Photovoltaic Power Plant, surrounded by olive trees and occupying an area of 34 hectares, with 52 thousand panels.

After crossing the municipal road once more, the route re-enters Brinches through the main street and returns to its starting point, passing the Nossa Senhora da Consolação Chapel, originally built in the sixteenth century.
