The rooms at Cantar do Grilo combine a classic rural atmosphere with modern furnishings and overlook the fields.
Regional products and house specialities are served for breakfast. An outdoor grill, a refrigerator and a microwave are available for guests to prepare snacks.
After a swim in the outdoor saltwater pool, guests can sunbathe on the deck surrounded by olive trees. The spacious lounge has a library, a varied CD collection and offers indoor relaxation. Guests can also relax with a game of Boccia.
The picturesque villages of Serpa and São Domingos are a 15-minute drive away and the drive from Cantar do Grilo to Mértola takes only 35 minutes.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
Cantar do Grilo is located in the countryside, in the Vale do Guadiana Nature Park, near Serpa. Made of rammed earth, the house was built according to the traditional Alentejo architecture: simple lines and thick whitewashed walls that keep it cool during the summer. The atmosphere is rustic, although the modern furniture contributes to the level of comfort required by modern life.
It offers a common room, garden and swimming pool.
All rooms have their own private bathroom and central heating.
